Meteor Defense
A chat typing game for your stream. Meteors carry words; chat types them to save the planet.
How it plays
Chat is the only weapon
Your viewers play from Twitch chat. No accounts, no extension, nothing to install. The game runs in an OBS browser source and reads chat on its own.
Type the word
Meteors fall toward the planet, each carrying a word. Type one in chat and your orb fires from your own spot on the planet to break it. Each wave falls faster, and the words get longer as the waves climb.
Mega asteroid
From wave 3, a slow giant can drift in with a long word. Up to three different chatters have to type it before it breaks, so the whole chat piles in. If it lands, it hits for four.
Meteor shower
Some waves are a storm of short words arriving almost at once. Fast hands save the planet here.
Golden comet
A gold streak crosses the sky for a few seconds. The first chatter to type its word repairs the planet and scores the most. Miss it and it just flies on.
Planet destruction
Every meteor that lands chips at the planet. At zero it shatters and the game-over card shows the wave you reached and the top defender. A new planet forms a few seconds later, and the leaderboard carries on.
